Our clients purchased a sub-standard 1960s timber framed house on an attractive village plot in a conservation area. Their wish was to replace it with a contemporary, low-energy family home taking advantage of the south-facing garden and views.
Despite resistance from the conservation officer at the time, our radical design was supported by the planning officer and we gained consent. We provided fully detailed construction and internal fit-out drawings and worked closely with client and builder to see the project through to a successful conclusion. Our first new house, the results exceeded the expectations of the delighted clients.
