The Old Rectory

David Ensom specified and oversaw repairs to the stonework, metal windows and window mullions on this grade 2 listed rectory, dating from the late 17th century and altered and extended in the 1930’s, the building’s soft local stone had suffered from years of weathering and some inappropriate past repairs.  After assessing the condition and researching the original materials, a repair specification was drafted and approved by the local conservation officer before local specialists carefully executed the work.
