The Brief

Trinity1 250Hall and Ensom have recently undertaken a detailed survey of the seventeenth century chapel at Trinity College, Oxford.  Consecrated in April 1694, the chapel contains exquisite wood carving attributed to Grinling Gibbons and glorious baroque plasterwork to the ceiling.

Leading a team of conservation specialists, advising on the ornate plasterwork, specialist carvings, and leaded light windows, we carried out a detailed inspection of the building fabric and provided the college with a comprehensive report setting out maintenance and repair priorities over the coming decades.  We are continuing to advise the college and assisting them in planning phased conservation work.
